~Biographical Sketch of Pastor Ronald D. Richardson~

Rev. Ronald D. Richardson was born in Dallas, TX on February 17, 1962 to the parentage of Jimmy Richardson, Sr. and Norma Jean Richardson. Rev. Richardson is married to Jo Ann Nelloms-Richardson. They are the parents of three beautiful daughters; LaTrona, Rondria (Rev.Jennings), Ronni (Bobby). He has three grandsons, Aaron, Asaph, B. J. and he has four beautiful granddaughters, Londyn, Alix, Audri, and Ava here on earth and one angel in heaven, Aubri Grace.

Rev. Ronald D. Richardson was called to the Gospel Ministry and preached his first sermon on May 29,1994. He served Greater Mt. Everest Missionary Baptist Church of Dallas, TX as Youth Pastor for four years under the leadership of the late Rev. Ocie F. Woods. In November 1998 he was led by God to organize the New Horizon Missionary Baptist Church, where he currently serves.

He is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School Class of 1980. He studied at Southern Bible Institute & Bible College, Dallas, TX, where he earned a four-year Diploma in Biblical Studies and an Associates Degree in Arts in Biblical Studies.

He is a member of the Oak Cliff Baptist Minister’s Union where he serves as 2nd Vice President as of January 28, 2024, he served as an officer in the True Fellowship Missionary Baptist District Association until its conclusion in 2021, and he served as President of the Evangelist Fellowship Ministers for four years.

Pastor Richardson is a Blair/Beckwith Religious Hall of Fame Inductee, a recipient of the Oak Cliff Baptist Ministers Union Bi-vocational Pastor of the Month, and a two-time recipient of the Dallas Police Department’s Ethics Award.

Most importantly, Pastor Richardson has WATER-WALKING FAITH and demonstrates it in his everyday life!!!
